Study: Healthy lifestyle could prevent up to 40% of cancer cases

Making healthy lifestyle changes could decrease the number of cancer deaths by 67% for men and 59% for women, according to a study published in JAMA Oncology. Researchers found that a healthy body mass index, regular exercise, no smoking, and no or moderate alcohol consumption could prevent 20% to 40% of new cancer cases.
